The U14 Girls continued their impressive league campaign with their fifth win out of five on Monday evening last against a disappointing Templeport team at the home venue. The girls are now through to the Division 1 League Final. This game is fixed for Monday May 9th and may well be against Castlerahan/Denn.
This was a one-sided game from the start with our girls using a strong wind to their advantage to lead 1-08 to no score at the half-way point. The girls were very committed and were first to every ball throughout. All girls got a game and a strong squad is developing as the season progresses. The game finished with a very comprehensive victory. Next up is the last league game versus Crosserlough next week. The focus is now on the league final with the ultimate goal being the All Ireland Feile competition in late June. Keep up the excellent work girls.
