Our U12 squads played their third game in the Spring League against Kingscourt in Kingscourt. Killygarry, having 21 players, fielded 10-a-side and an 11-a-side teams in separate games. Both games were close from the off and the narrowest of margins separated both teams at half time. Killygarry were dealt a blow when Dean McNamara was forced to leave the field with a knee injury and he was not fit to continue. Half time came and all players were exhausted with the warm weather. The fresh water and the 5-minute break got our boys back on track, Both team finished strongly with great scores and quick movement of the ball. It’s clear from the sidelines to see that these groups of lads are learning and carrying out their training drills in games and the fruits of this was another win. Well played from the goalkeepers to the corner forwards. Keep up the good work lads.
