Our Under 12s made the long trek to Kingscourt last Tuesday evening. They fielded two teams. The Red team played on pitch one where they met a strong home side. The hosts, aided by a strong wind, led by two at half-time but Killygarry edged the second half exchanges and in the end had 8 points to spare at the final whistle. It was a good performance in this their first outing in the Spring League but the boys know that they have plenty to work on.

The Black team played on pitch two and met a very well-talked up home team who had a most impressive U10 campaign in last year’s U10 blitzes. In the end the hosts ran out convincing winners but our young boys kept the fighting spirit going till the end and will learn from this experience.
